Job Description

As a Senior Manager in Facilities Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the facility's operational management and maintenance. Focusing on optimizing efficiency, ensuring safety, and enhancing the quality of services, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the facility's infrastructure and ensuring an impeccable working environment. The role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to solve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in facilities management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day operations and unexpected challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure facilities run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement facilities management policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring the cost-effectiveness of all facility operations.
  • Ensure that facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of physical systems to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Develop and lead facilities staff training programs to enhance team performance and skills.
  • Manage sustainability initiatives to enhance the environmental responsibility of all facilities.
  • Develop emergency response and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic goals.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in facilities management or related managerial roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively and efficiently.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations in facilities.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
