Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for an Urban Designer to join our office in Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary:

The Urban Designer with proven experience in the UAE/Middle East to contribute to the delivery of high-quality master planning and urban design projects. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of master planning, urban design, and landscape projects. The role requires a balance of design creativity, technical knowledge, and familiarity with local authority processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and delivery of urban design and master planning projects.
• Support landscape design tasks, including site analysis, concept development, and integration with urban frameworks.
• Prepare design drawings, reports, and visual presentations to effectively communicate ideas.
• Efficient in Report writing and related graphics.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and landscape teams to develop integrated and sustainable design solutions.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and precedent studies to inform project development.
• Ensure all work complies with UAE authority codes, standards, and submission requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies, applying them where relevant.
  
  

• Degree in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with strong exposure to projects in the UAE/Middle East.
• Strong urban design and landscape design skills, with the ability to integrate both disciplines.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, or GIS).
• Good understanding of master planning regulations and approval processes in the UAE.
• Excellent graphic, hand sketching, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
