Job Purpose:

The primary goal of this position is to support the HSE Manager in overseeing, promoting, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures in accordance with legal, organizational, and industry requirements. The purpose of this job is to support the HSE Manager and all organizational employees in dealing with health, safety, and environmental issues, both with clients, authorities, and day-to-day tasks. The job also involves conducting assessments, making recommendations, and educating employees through constructive HSE training and awareness initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting HSE awareness & campaigns among the employees.
  • Conducting HSE inductions / training to new and current employees as per the annual HSE training plan.
  • Timely monitoring and updating of HSE statistics and maintenance of remote monitoring systems (Share Folder, SENYAR) and analysis of data to support Corporate & Noatum HSE Performances.
  • Support HSE Manager in preparing the HSE monthly reports, analysis, training presentations, procedures, plans, policies etc. assigned by the HSE manager.
  • Conduct workplace HSE inspection and compliance checks as per the annual inspection plan.
  • Monitor and update the HSE observations/incidents and CAPA tracking registers to ensure timely closure of all HSE actions.
  • Schedule, organize & conduct weekly, monthly internal and external HSE training courses for the workforce and keep records.
  • Assist HSE Manager during the scheduled IMS internal/external audits by supporting relevant evidence documents.
  • Conduct IMS internal audits as per the annual IMS internal plan and submit completed audit reports to IMS Representative.
  • Review and approve the PTW documents submitted by contractors.
  • Prepare HSE performance statistics monthly and submit them to client representatives as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Attending client HSE and performance review meetings and take necessary actions to close the observations.
  • Conduct/Participate in monthly HSE meetings.
  • Coordinate with the NISHAN Security Team and support them to implement the HSE standards in all workplaces/facilities.
  • Develop and update risk assessments & risk registers for the operational activities and communicate with the workforce to prevent any OHS & Environmental incidents.
  • Conduct emergency drills in operation areas as per the approved annual drill plan.
  • Stop & report any unsafe conditions or violations.
  • Ensuring proper installation of fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, spill kits, warning tapes and consumables such as first aid box contents, hydrates, etc. in operation areas.
  • Ensure TBT is conducted regularly with full attendance of employees and maintain TBT attendance, feedback records and HSE TBT & Training registers.
  • Monitor and update sustainability report on a monthly basis for the cluster & Corporate HSE.
  • Ensure to comply with SRA- DMT, ADOSH and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for assisting the ERT during any emergencies.
  • Assist the HSE Manager/ HOD to investigate all the incidents and advise corrective actions for implementation.
  • Report on the organization’s HSE performance periodically in ADOSH ALADAA portal.
  • Follow the directions given by the HSE Manager and be willing to work in various locations and shifts as needed for the business.
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • NEBOSH IGC & IOSH Managing Safely
  • Lead Auditor Certification (ISO 45001 & 14001)
  • Certified First Aider & Fire Warden
  • UAE driving license
  • Excellent Proficiency in MS Office
  • Minimum 5-6 Years of experience in HSE field
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • NEBOSH IGC & IOSH Managing Safely
  • Lead Auditor Certification (ISO 45001 & 14001)
  • Certified First Aider & Fire Warden
  • UAE driving license
