JOB PURPOSE:
Manage and support the development and implementation of a proactive investor relations strategy and related engagement plans and programmes, in line with business needs, to ensure investors are aware of and understand ADNOC’s business and investment strategy. Assist and support any ADNOC equity and debt raising
activities and ensure ADNOC’s investor profile and reputation is enhanced across the global business, finance community and key stakeholders.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific:
Investor Relations Strategy, Engagement Plans and Initiatives
- Manage and lead with the development of a proactive ADNOC investor strategy and related engagement plans, the implementation thereof, and enhance engagement with existing and new shareholders, debt providers and joint venture partners.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage and lead with the engagement with the global and regional financial and investment community, including key stakeholders in the equity and debt capital markets and the private institutional markets, in order to contribute to domestic and international ADNOC investments, co-investments and other capital raisings.
- Manage and lead with the engagement with target stakeholders such as large trading houses, international pension funds, banks, private equity investors and global infrastructure specialists - particularly in ADNOC’s key geographic markets of focus – in order to contribute to a sustainable and accessible network that contributes to attracting and structuring capital.
- Stay updated on the latest industry developments and collect relevant industry peers’ data, in order for the Investor Relations team to have all relevant information at its disposal
- Oversee the Analyst work, including the updates on the company’s stock price, trading volumes, analysts’ forecasts, investors’ feedback as well as similar data of industry peers for performance reporting and benchmarking purpose. Analyses Perform all research and analyses on current trends in global and regional equity capital markets, debt capital markets, trading trends and private institutional markets.

- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

- Provide input for preparation of the Function/Division/Department/Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver objectives.

- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/Division/Department/Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Function/Division/Department/Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting.
- Masters degree in Finance is preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 12 years of experience in and Investor Relations related position in a large organisation, preferably in oil & gas industry.
- Highly numerate, strong finance fundamentals.
- Strong writing, presentation and oral skills in English as well as Arabic, multi-lingual skills would be an added advantage.
- Proven understanding of investment analysis, valuation and drivers of companies’ performance.
- Sound grasp of accounting and financial planning & analysis.
- Deep understanding of financial markets (considerable experience of financial markets, with clear understanding of the roles and demands of various market participants).
- Track record in representing a company within the financial markets, speaking at conferences, hosting group meetings and engaging in one-on-one meetings. Committed to the highest level of ethical standards, presenting information fairly and accurately and treating all market participants equally.
Professional Certifications
- CPA, ACCA, CFA preferred.
