The Opportunity

Presight is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy, integrate, and extend Presight's AI-powered products and platforms within strategic customer environments. In this role, you will work directly with customers to solve complex business and technical challenges, delivering production-ready solutions while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Deployment, Implementation, Delivery, Security, and GTM teams to continuously improve Presight's products, deployment capabilities, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, integration, and extension of Presight products and platforms within strategic customer environments, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from discovery through production rollout, operating effectively within self-organizing teams in fast-paced and rapidly evolving environments.
• Design and develop targeted extensions, connectors, workflows, prototypes, and reusable implementation components to address customer requirements while supporting long-term product scalability.
• Partner with customer business and technical stakeholders to understand business challenges, workflows, data environments, and technical constraints, translating requirements into practical technical solutions while evaluating feasibility, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Develop, review, and maintain production-quality software, leveraging best-in-class agentic software engineering tools and practices to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver customer solutions.
• Develop APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and application components, building AI-enabled solutions where appropriate, including LLM workflows, retrieval, evaluation, and model integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure, ensuring deployed solutions are secure, reliable, documented, and operationally sustainable.
• Identify recurring customer requirements and deployment challenges, converting repeatable custom work into reusable product capabilities and implementation patterns.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence product priorities, roadmap decisions, technical improvements, and future deployment capabilities.
• Develop playbooks, tools, and best practices that improve delivery efficiency and accelerate future customer deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Deployment, Implementation, Delivery, Security, and GTM teams to scope work, sequence delivery, manage technical trade-offs, remove blockers, and ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support the transition of deployed solutions into broader implementation or operational support while ensuring effective documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, and act as Presight's technical partner throughout discovery, deployment, and adoption.
• Travel to customer locations as required to support project delivery and customer engagements.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
  
  

Key Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solution engineering, implementation engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles, with experience delivering enterprise software solutions within complex customer environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience using Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar modern programming languages.
• Proven experience developing production-quality software, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and distributed applications.
• Experience deploying enterprise software platforms and integrating solutions across complex customer environments.
• Experience building AI-enabled solutions, including LLM workflows, model integrations, and modern AI engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, systems integration, databases, and secure software development practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices.

• Experience with cloud-native technologies, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices.
• Experience developing reusable implementation frameworks, deployment accelerators, or engineering toolkits.
• Relevant cloud, AI, or software engineering certifications.
