Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key strategic partner responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and strategic direction to the organization. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in developing financial plans, conducting in-depth analysis, and directing budgeting processes to support organizational growth and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial strategies align with business goals. Your analytical skills will be vital in preparing forecasts, evaluating financial performance, and making recommendations to improve financial outcomes. This position requires a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and create accurate financial models.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Prepare and present complex financial performance reports to senior management.
  • Analyze financial trends and variances and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key financial metrics and indicators.
  • Evaluate and improve current financial procedures and processes for efficiency.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions by providing thorough financial due diligence.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Identify potential financial risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage financial system integrations and upgrades in support of organizational goals.
  • Train and mentor junior financial analysts to foster skill development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred but not required.
