Senior Financial Analyst (225-923)

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role within our finance department, providing financial insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making. This role is meant for a detail-oriented and analytical thinker who can interpret financial data and translate it into actionable recommendations. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes for the organization. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business decision-making processes.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to prepare detailed financial forecasts and budgets.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and interpretation of data.
• Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership for review and approval.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports submitted to stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective measures where necessary.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes affecting financial practices.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate accurate financial audits.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior financial analysts within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate complex financial data to diverse audiences.
• Experience with financial forecasting and budget preparation is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and practices.
