Job Description

A Senior Financial Analyst is a key position within the finance department, offering critical analysis, insights, and support to senior management, ensuring the financial health and growth of the company. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making and investment evaluations.
  • Analyze monthly financial results, identifying trends and variances to management activities.
  • Collaborate with department heads to compile annual budgets and financial projections.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for executive management to evaluate company performance.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business operations to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Monitor financial markets and trends to provide insights on potential business impacts.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the implementation of financial planning and analysis initiatives across the organization.
  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management and business units.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control processes across finance functions.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of financial systems and tools for improved reporting.
  • Facilitate financial training and mentorship programs for junior analysts and finance staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Proven experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards within the industry.
  • MBA or relevant financial certification such as CFA is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
