Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimation process for complex construction projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for cost data.
• Review project specifications and architectural drawings to prepare detailed estimates.
• Analyze project risks and opportunities to inform accurate cost projections.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish project budgets and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to company estimation standards and procedures for quality control.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present to clients and stakeholders professionally.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimators to support their professional development.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and report findings to management for decision-making.
• Update and maintain estimation databases to improve project costing accuracy.
• Participate in post-project reviews to refine and enhance estimation processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to apply innovative estimating techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in construction estimating roles.
• Proven experience in leading and managing estimation teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing trends.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate estimation and costing.
• Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office suite products.
