Senior Engineer Operations Readiness And Assurance

We are hiring a Senior Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) to be based in Abu Dhabi with strong Oil & Gas projects experience from design through commissioning and start-up. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient transition of projects into operations by implementing OR&A processes, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Operations Readiness & Assurance (OR&A) activities across project phases.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure operability, maintainability, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
• Develop and review operating procedures, maintenance strategies, and training plans.
• Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS, etc.) and readiness reviews.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and handover to Operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is Mandatory.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role.
• Strong experience in OR&A, commissioning, start-up, and operational risk management.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, IEC, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
