Senior Engineer Construction Instrumentation

Penspen is hiring experienced Senior Engineer, Construction (Instrumentation) Site based in Abu Dhabi with extensive oil & gas experience to oversee instrumentation works for oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of instruments and control systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction work packages.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and other disciplines.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project schedules.
• Manage inspections, loop checks, system completion, and handover activities.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in engineering Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control Engineering. or related discipline is mandatory
• 15+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector
• 5 years in GCC region
• 5 years of experience in similar position
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline
• Strong knowledge of field instruments, DCS, PLC, SIS, F&G, and control systems
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments
• In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards
• Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
