Senior Electrician

The Senior Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within the warehouses, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical equipment and infrastructure. This role typically involves DPRE other team maintenance members as well and coordination with warehouse management to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Installation & Maintenance
• Install and commission electrical wiring, panels, switchboards, lighting, and equipment according to design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of all warehouse electrical systems including motors, conveyors, lighting, and HVAC equipment , cold rooms .
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with local electrical codes and company safety policies.
2. Troubleshooting & Repairs
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and warehouse automation systems.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly to minimize operational downtime.
• Analyze recurring electrical issues and implement long-term solutions.
3. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain records of electrical installations, maintenance schedules, and repair logs.
• Prepare reports on system performance, faults, and improvement recommendations.
4. Safety & Compliance
• Enforce strict adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments for electrical hazards.
• Stay updated on electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
5. Coordination & Support
• Work closely with DPRE facility management guidelines and coordinate with 5 PL operation team , and other AMC – Contractors to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized electrical systems across the warehouses
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 Years experience in warehouses or food processing factory
• Preferable with driving license
• Basic computer skills
• Familiar with FM – Software
• Excellent in drawings readings and electrical circuits
