Job Description

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries as an inspector in the construction of new and Brownfield modifications to existing 33 KV,11kV, 3.3 kV and 415 V electric power distribution systems, switchgear, control gear, distribution boards, UPS, earthing & lighting, underground cabling, cathodic protection, lighting and small power distribution systems.
  • Proved experience in liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during the FAT and SAT of electric equipment and instrumentation equipment.
  • Must be experienced in interpreting and applying EPC Contractor and Vendor design documentation in the construction, testing and commissioning of all instrumentation and control systems in DCS including modifications to the existing ESD, Fire and Gas systems and control room architecture and provision of new package boiler instrumentation systems.
  • Good knowledge of ISO and other International Standards.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports.
  • Computer literate and familiarity with codes ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO and BS.
