Senior Credit Manager (225-916)

The Senior Credit Manager plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the credit operations within an organization. This position is responsible for assessing and approving credit applications, setting credit policies, and minimizing financial risks while maximizing revenue opportunities. Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire credit granting process, including credit assessment and loan approval.
• Develop, implement, and review credit policies and procedures of the organization.
• Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts and assistant credit managers.
• Perform detailed risk assessment and analysis on potential and existing clients.
• Negotiate the terms and conditions of credit facilities with clients.
• Evaluate the financial performance of clients using financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in credit operations.
• Prepare credit management reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to drive growth and minimize credit risk.
• Maintain relations with clients and monitor their financial transactions regularly.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline credit processes and systems.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations for credit risk management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in credit management or a related role.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in assessing financial statements.
