Senior Construction Engineer -Pipeline

Penspen is hiring experienced Senior Construction Engineer - Pipeline Site based in Abu Dhabi with extensive oil & gas experience to lead and support onshore pipeline construction activities. The role involves planning, execution, and supervision of construction works, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pipeline construction activities
• Develop construction methodologies, work packs, and schedules
• Supervise contractors and construction teams to ensure safe execution
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, project specifications, and codes
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, and project teams
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and reporting
• Support constructability reviews and resolve site construction issues
• Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  
  

• Bachelors degree in engineering Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is mandatory
• 15+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector
• 5 years in GCC region
• 5 years of experience in similar position
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline construction projects
• Strong knowledge of pipeline installation, welding, testing, and commissioning
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments
• In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards
• Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
