Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

The Senior Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for civil and structural engineering activities during engineering, construction, and commissioning phases of oil & gas EPC projects . The role involves a mix of office-based engineering and site-based construction support . Key Responsibilities:

• Review and develop civil and structural design documents, drawings, and calculations.
• Participate in FEED and detailed engineering reviews.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, MTOs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (Process, Piping, Electrical, etc.).
• Review contractor and vendor drawings for compliance with project standards.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (API, ACI, BS, Eurocode).
• Provide engineering support during construction at site.
• Supervise and monitor civil and structural works (foundations, concrete, steel structures, pipe racks, buildings).
• Resolve site engineering issues, RFIs, and technical queries.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure safe execution of works.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in civil / Structural Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong experience in FEED, detailed engineering, and construction support.
• Proven exposure to onshore/offshore facilities, brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Good knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
