Purpose of the Role

The Senior Civil Inspector will oversee and ensure the quality, compliance, and progress of civil construction works on the project. The role involves detailed supervision of site activities, verification of contractor submissions, and coordination with project management and QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to contract requirements, industry standards, and approved project procedures.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

·       Conduct detailed inspections of civil works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, method statements, quality control procedures, and inspection/test plans.

·       Review and verify contractor submissions including shop drawings, material approvals, and testing reports to ensure alignment with project specifications.

·       Monitor and supervise site activities to ensure workmanship, materials, and construction practices meet contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.

·       Oversee testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, aggregates) and ensure testing is performed according to approved quality procedures.

·       Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions with contractors and project team.

·       Collaborate with planning and construction teams to track progress, highlight delays, and provide technical guidance to ensure project timelines are met.

·       Review as-built drawings and contractor closeout reports to ensure site conditions are accurately documented and compliant with project requirements.

·       Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior inspection staff, promoting quality awareness and adherence to procedures.

 

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

·       Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in civil construction inspection and supervision on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.

·       Proven experience in QA/QC, inspection, and site supervision of civil works including concrete, structural, and finishing works.

·       Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications (local and international).Excellent report writing, communication, and coordination skills.

·       Ability to lead inspection teams and provide technical guidance across multiple civil disciplines.

·       Experience with contract management, NCR processes, and interfacing with independent testing laboratories is preferred.

·       Familiarity with ADNOC procedures, industry standards, and safety regulations is highly desirable.

·       Available in UAE / Immediate joiners preferred
