We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with a strong focus on Python development to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend architecture using Python and relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to support various applications.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend systems to frontend requests.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal functionality of backend systems.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Work with databases, caching layers, and cloud services to optimize development workflows.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and technical expertise where necessary.
• Continuously improve development processes by suggesting and implementing innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers to define system requirements and specifications.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to evaluate and implement new solutions effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
• Minimum of five years experience in backend development with a focus on Python.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with its frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
• Experience with database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach to tasks.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and handle evolving job requirements.
