What you will do:
Lead operational elements of Government Affairs initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with Mubadala’s strategic objectives
Manage data requests, dashboards, and reporting workflows; deliver insights and analytics to support leadership decision-making
Support budget planning, track financial performance, and provide cost analysis and reporting
Build and maintain relationships with government entities, industry forums, and key stakeholders
Act as a point of contact for assigned engagements, ensuring alignment with Mubadala priorities
Prepare stakeholder briefs, manage protocols, and ensure follow-ups on engagements
Develop leadership briefs, talking points, and advisory notes to support decision-making
Coordinate cross-functionally to integrate Government Affairs priorities into wider business initiatives
Track KPIs, update scorecards, and support internal performance reviews
Manage logistics and execution of government delegations, forums, and strategic events
Prepare pre- and post-event materials, including briefs, agendas, and outcome reports
Develop and review content such as country reports, geopolitical briefs, and executive communications
Ensure quality control across reports and presentations, maintaining institutional standards
Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting capability building and knowledge sharing
Contribute to special projects, including crisis coordination and strategic or compliance initiatives
What will you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field
6–8 years of experience in government affairs, preferably within the UAE or regional context
Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi government entities, protocols, and regional/international stakeholders
Solid knowledge of Mubadala’s business platforms and ability to link government engagement to business outcomes
Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders and participating in external meetings and negotiations
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
Ability to develop high-quality reports, briefs, and executive-level content
Strong research capability with the ability to synthesize and present relevant insights
Commercial awareness and business acumen
Experience tracking performance metrics, KPIs, and financial data
Ability to mentor junior team members and support team development
High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
Proficiency in digital tools, including dashboards and emerging AI capabilities
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
