Provide support in managing the asset mgt investment process, the underwriting on new potential acquisitions, and the closing of potential acquisitions in conjunction with the senior manager.
Support in managing the relationships with existing Aldar JVs/Subsidiaries and the periodic monitoring of JVs/Subsidiaries financial performance.

Roles And Responsibilities
Acquisitions
Assist in developing the asset mgt investments proposals across all stages of the transaction from sourcing to execution.
Identify, research and analyze potential acquisition recommendations received from internal and external sources; gain understanding of financial performance, contractual commitments, operations, facilities, etc.
Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and execute on market opportunities in the UAE.
Assist in all acquisition phases including structuring definitive agreements and their drafting processes.
Assist in the due diligence process; coordinate efforts in conjunction with legal and commercial divisions (and external advisers).
Interact with acquisition representatives as requested, ensuring complete understanding of business.
Provide support in building financial and valuation models where required and assist in budgeting, forecasting and assessing financial results, in addition to valuing intangible assets and determining purchase price allocations.
Prepare presentation materials/memoranda and financial and impact assessment reports for the line manager.
Coordinate with agents, owners and brokers on potential acquisitions, coordinate with valuers and structural engineers in DD process, coordinating with lawyers and reviewing contracts, coordinating with banks to secure lending and negotiating terms.
Maintain asset acquisition records/documents.
JV/Subsidiary Management
In coordination with the senior manager, define the financial and strategic metrics to establish the positioning of JVs/Subsidiaries, and ensure alignment of the operating plans.
Assist in establishing regular financial reporting framework between JVs/Subsidiaries and Aldar’s Acquisitions and Adjacent Business team including improving monthly reporting packs and Board packs and internal reporting frameworks .
Assist in developing the JVs and Subsidiaries: a) Five-year business plans (strategic and financial), b) risk registers and mitigation plans, c) business performance framework, c) annual budgets.
Assist in tracking and monitoring of Aldar’s JVs and Subsidiaries business performance; provide periodic report to the line manager where required.
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:
Min of: 4+ years of experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking, buy side or sell side advisory or other related field.
Technical And Interpersonal Skills
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with standard software, including MS Office; advanced Excel skills is a must.
Knowhow and experience in conducting valuation / financial models.
Able to analyze, evaluate and move quickly to support rapid decision making.
Ability to interpret and manage transaction documentation: NDAs, MoUs, LoI’s, and SPA’s
Ability to develop Board level papers and investment memoranda.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Accounting.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Accurate financial modeling and valuation.
Efficiency in developing board level acquisition presentations.
