ROLE PURPOSE

The Senior Associate – Financial Planning supports the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The role partners closely with business stakeholders (Finance Reporting, Finance Business Partners, etc.) to provide timely financial insights, performance analysis, and decision support, helping management drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and Business Plan
• Perform detailed financial analysis and variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key financial trends, risks, and opportunitie
• Support budget control by reviewing and validating budget availability for Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) approvals.
• Engage with Finance Business Partners to understand financial performance drivers and support cost control initiatives
• Assist in improving financial planning processes, tools, and reporting efficiency
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal financial policies
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior management
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions
• Support internal and external audits as required.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are mandatory
• 8–10+ years of experience in financial planning, FP&A, or a related finance role
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems; experience with Oracle is preferred
• Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders
• Highly detail‑oriented and well organized
