The RTC primary geographical coverage addresses Abu Dhabi and Middle East Region. However, the core of its mission also covers all Middle East/India, Russia and Africa MIRA Zone countries, to the extent permitted by language restrictions.
The RTC market coverage addresses primarily Oil & Gas, Power and Process Industries, as well as to a limited extent Construction and Infrastructures.
The RTC technical coverage addresses desktop high-end, high added-value QHSE related services to Industry, such as Design Verification, Risk and Safety consultancy, Environmental services and consultancy and Asset Integrity Management Services.
He/She is expected to establish direct contact with Activity Managers of other offices within Middle East Region and MIRA Zone and whenever necessary with other Regions of Bureau Veritas organization.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education
Graduate Engineer (B.S. degree or equivalent)
Training/Specialty
Fluent in English (written and spoken);
Good technical reporting skills in the English language.
Technical knowledge
Strong knowledge of the International Standards such as API-580, 581, 571, 510,570, 653, ASME Sec VIII Div. 1
Strong knowledge of Client Specs (Saudi Aramco & ADNOC, etc.
Experience
Minimum proven 03 years of relevant experience in conducting RBI studies with major operators i.e. ADNOC, Saudi Aramco;
Hands on Experience with Meridium APM / E2G API-RBI Softwares
Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities
Primary Functions
The engineer shall conduct Risk Based Inspection Assessment in accordance with API-580, 581 and client specs using various softwares (APM Meridium, E2G API-RBI and Palladio)
Technical Expertise
Lead the development of asset integrity management projects, including RBI, CCD/CMP, IOWs, RCA, RLA, FFS etc.
Preparation of Project Execution Plans, CTR, Progress Reports
Team Composition & facilitation of project
Setting the studies basis & defining the assumptions for missing data/info
Deliver technical assessment and recommendations for corrosion mitigation including corrosion rate assessments, modelling, and mitigation measurement including but not limited to metallurgy, coating, cathodic protection, corrosion inhibitors etc.
Defining the Risk Acceptance Criteria
Project Alignment Meetings with clients
Review CLs & Corrosion Studies and Leading the CL workshops
Review IGs and leading IG workshops
QA/QC of data populated
PoF, CoF & Risk Analysis, Sensitivity Analysis, defining the main risk drivers and guidance to team for database updates
Facilitation of DB Workshops
Setting Inspection Plan criteria
Development of Baseline Survey Criteria
Develop Short- & Long-Term Recommendations for Risk Mitigation
Trouble Shooting for Technical Issues
Act as a liaison with key clients enduring adherence to their specific standards and study protocols
Support the line manager in achieving KPIs, contract management and budget forecasting
