Senior Antenna Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Antenna Engineer with strong expertise in antenna design, electromagnetic simulation, and high-power system development.

This role involves the full lifecycle of antenna development—from concept and design to prototyping, testing, and performance optimisation—supporting advanced applications such as radar systems, wireless communications, and high-power electromagnetic technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop single-element antennas and antenna arrays for high-performance applications
• Perform electromagnetic simulations to evaluate and optimise antenna designs
• Build and prototype antenna systems, supporting in-house assembly and integration activities
• Manage and oversee fabrication of components and systems through external vendors
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate antenna solutions into larger systems
• Develop and execute testing and validation procedures for antenna performance
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot issues, and refine designs to enhance performance
• Contribute to research and innovation in advanced antenna technologies and applications
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including designs, test results, and reports
• Support additional technical and project-related activities as required
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in antenna design, development, and testing
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, particularly in high-power environments
• Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS/ANSYS, COMSOL)
• Practical experience with prototyping, measurement, and laboratory testing of antenna systems
• Ability to analyse complex technical data and solve engineering challenges

• Effective communication skills for presenting technical concepts and results
• Experience with mechanical CAD tools is an advantage
