As a Senior Analytics Specialist, you will report to the Manager of Operations Reporting & Analytics and use your analytical skills and broader analytics toolkit to analyze and visualize Etihad’s operational data resources. You will be responsible for answering high‑value analytical questions raised by various operations departments across Etihad. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively work across a multi-disciplinary environment. In addition, you are encouraged to continually develop your analytics capabilities and techniques for data analysis and problem‑solving, ensuring alignment with industry-leading BI standards.

Accountabilities

• Drive cost savings, network optimization and fuel efficiency by developing reports & self-serve dashboards
• Develop and maintain calibration of models to ensure they are relevant and optimal for the current business state
• Monitor the benefits of models and provide monthly reports and actionable insights to the leadership team
• Research and propose ways to enhance the existing business processes by effectively utilizing advanced analytical solutions
• Communicate and present insights to relevant stakeholders
• Share knowledge with the rest of the ops analytics team to upskill existing team members on more advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modelling, forecasting, and machine learning
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and roll-out of new systems and upgrades of the existing ones to ensure delivery of requirements as per the business needs without any severe defects or bugs
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or data science.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in analytics and report development
• Experience in Query tool applications such as SQL, Databricks, Python and Synapse would be preferred.
• Must have experience in analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau
