The client is a Multi Billion $ investment manager that manages a global portfolio across mulitple asset classes.
Job Description
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., DFSA, SEC, FCA as applicable).
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate annual audit processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, and portfolio management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience, including Big 4 audit experience with financial services clients (asset management, investment funds, or private equity).
- Strong understanding of IFRS.
- Experience in asset management or investment firms preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP) is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
