About Our Client

The client is a Multi Billion $ investment manager that manages a global portfolio across mulitple asset classes.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., DFSA, SEC, FCA as applicable).
  • Liaise with external auditors and coordinate annual audit processes.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, compliance, and portfolio management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience, including Big 4 audit experience with financial services clients (asset management, investment funds, or private equity).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Experience in asset management or investment firms preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP) is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
