Job Description

The Senior Account Manager plays a vital role in maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to several key accounts, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and assigned strategic account objectives. They represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, leading the client account planning cycle and ensuring that clients’ needs and expectations are met. This position demands a professional with proven experience in sales, excellent strategic planning skills, and the ability to handle and manage sophisticated relationships at the most senior levels. The successful candidate will be adept at identifying new opportunities for growth, thereby ensuring a prosperous relationship between the client and the company.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Meet designated sales targets by leveraging account opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay current in industry trends.
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers for business growth.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, solving issues professionally.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations to clients and upper management.
  • Track and report on key account metrics to senior management regularly.
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize profit, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless experience for the clients.
  • Email and phone outreach to maintain direct relationships with top accounts.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to promote long-term success and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in account management roles.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data for decision making.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time successfully.
