Job Description

The Senior Account Manager is a pivotal role within our company, driving client satisfaction and leading strategic account planning to foster client retention and growth. You will act as the primary point of contact for major client accounts, coordinating internal resources, and working closely with the broader team to deliver exceptional service and meet clients' needs effectively. In this position, you will oversee account management team activities, develop profitable relationships with new clients, and maintain existing business partnerships. Your expertise in understanding client business needs, key industry trends, and the market landscape will enable you to offer tailored solutions, maximize opportunities, and enhance revenues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a strong drive to achieve business targets while ensuring high client satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive client satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for major client account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure sustained business growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profit and partnership success.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Identify client needs and upsell additional services or product enhancements when appropriate.
  • Manage account team members, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve goals.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports on account performance and client engagements.
  • Participate in industry forums, events, and conferences to showcase company capabilities.
  • Foster a client-centric culture within the team and organization to enhance client experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in account management or a client-facing role.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving business growth with clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience managing a team, including mentoring and developing team members.
  • In-depth understanding of business, market dynamics, and industry trends.
