Security Engineer - NGFW And F5

Help AG is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in the NGFW (Palo Alto & Fortinet) and F5 technologies to monitor and manage secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise security solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in monitoring and initial level troubleshooting in large, complex environments, supporting both on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Act as L1 engineer for Palo Alto & Fortinet firewalls, F5-LTM, AWAF, APM and GTM for Help AG customers.
• Monitor and maintain security infrastructure, including NGFM and F5 solutions.
• Knowledge of Security protocols, Routing, switching, DNS and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Able to monitor, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot IP Networks and interconnected Network Security technologies
• Provide timely response to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
• Takes responsibility in handling incidents and escalate timely to SME teams.
• Calling and notifying customers and different stakeholders’ teams to provide faster resolution and updates.
• Should be working in a 24*7 support team.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years demonstrable industry experience
• Should have knowledge in enterprise security with Palo Alto & Fortinet firewalls, Routing & Switching and F5 solutions.
• Good understanding of IPSec & SSL VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS and SSL/TLS.
• Should have good understanding of Network Security technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
• Should have expertise and in-depth knowledge of Complex IP Networks.
• Should have demonstrable experience of working under extreme pressure and customer facing environments.
• Should have Network Operations / Security Operations experience.
• Should have fair understanding of ITIL change management, problem management and incident management.
• Should have experience to work with strict SLAs.
• Self-motivated and have a professional attitude.
• Excellent Customer-facing skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Excellent teambuilding, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess good decision-making skills, be very organized and detail oriented.
• Skills in handling technical conflicts, organizational challenges, planning, and implementation challenges.
