Job Description

A Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist is pivotal in enhancing a company's online presence and search engine ranking. This role involves analyzing, strategizing, and executing various SEO tasks to ensure high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. As a crucial member of the digital marketing team, an SEO Specialist must have a deep understanding of SEO practices and the ever-evolving algorithms of search engines. They need to possess a strong analytical mindset, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, innovative, and committed to staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure the company's online success.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content creators and web developers.
  • Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to drive online visibility.
  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior metrics to enhance SEO efforts.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and performance for better search engine rankings.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
  • Collaborate with the content team to produce SEO-friendly text and meta tags.
  • Monitor changes in search engine algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Regularly perform competitive analysis to benchmark website performance against competitors.
  • Generate and present insightful SEO reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Coordinate with IT and web development teams to ensure best SEO practices are integrated.
  • Identify and resolve sitemap and crawl issues to maximize web crawlability.
  • Promote both off-page and on-page activities and increase the quality of content related SEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working with SEO practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz is essential.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for optimization improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred but not required.
