School Bus Driver

We are looking for a  School Bus Driver who will be responsible for safely operating a school bus to transport students to and from school, following established routes and safety protocols. The driver ensures the well-being of students during transit and maintains a safe and orderly environment on the bus.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the school bus in compliance with traffic laws, road regulations, and school policies.
• Transport students to and from school, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transit, including proper use of seat belts and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus, enforcing discipline and following established rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure its safe and proper operation.
• Report any mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or malfunctions promptly.
• Plan efficient and safe routes to pick up and drop off students while considering traffic conditions and time constraints.
• Use GPS or navigation tools to follow designated routes accurately.
• Establish effective communication with school staff, parents, and students as needed.
• Maintain open lines of communication with school authorities and transportation coordinators.
• Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and protocols, including evacuations and first aid.
• Respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate records of bus schedules, passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation as specified.
• Interact courteously and professionally with students, parents, and school staff.
• Provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere for students during transit.
• Assist students, especially younger ones, with boarding and disembarking the bus safely.
• Ensure students are seated and secure before moving the bus.

• Valid UAE driver's license for the appropriate type of vehicle (bus) and passenger capacity.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic laws, road regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a large group of students and maintain order on the bus.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine concern for student safety and well-being.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Completion of any required training programs or certifications for school bus drivers.
