Your Role And Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the SAP HANA infrastructure and SAP BASIS components, ensuring a high‑performance, scalable, secure, and resilient SAP landscape. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver enterprise‑grade SAP solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP HANA & BASIS Architecture
• Design and govern the end‑to‑end SAP HANA and SAP BASIS architecture across landscapes.
• Ensure optimal configuration of SAP HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, and HCM systems.
• Own SAP technical architecture decisions across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
• Cloud & Hyperscaler Architecture
• Design and oversee SAP deployments on AWS, Azure, or other hyperscalers.
• Lead cloud migration strategies (ECC → S/4HANA, on‑prem → cloud, RISE‑aligned models).
• Ensure cloud architectures meet performance, availability, scalability, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams for end‑to‑end cloud readiness.
• Application & Platform Design
• Design SAP applications that may:
• Run on multiple platforms
• Be composed of multiple integrated SAP and non‑SAP components
• Maintain the functional interface between SAP applications and underlying infrastructure.
• Ensure seamless integration with surrounding systems and platforms.
• Performance, Availability & Scalability
• Accountable for system performance, uptime, and scalability across all SAP environments.
• Proactively monitor, tune, and optimize:
• SAP HANA databases
• Application workloads
• Interfaces and data replication
• Ensure systems meet SLAs and business continuity expectations.
• SAP Technology Enablement
• Provide technical leadership across advanced SAP technologies, including:
• SAP BTP
• SAP SLT
• SAP ASE
• SAP LeanIX
• HANA‑based integration and extension scenarios
• Support real‑time replication, analytics, and extension use cases.
• Security, Reliability & Quality
• Ensure SAP platforms are designed and operated with security‑by‑design principles.
• Work with InfoSec teams to implement:
• Access controls
• Secure connectivity
• Compliance and audit requirements
• Deliver high‑quality, reliable SAP solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  

• Deep expertise in SAP HANA, SAP BASIS, and S/4HANA
• Strong experience with ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, HCM
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or hyperscalers)
• Experience with SAP BTP, SLT, SAP ASE, LeanIX
• Strong understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and scalability
• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Proven ability to work across cross‑functional technical and business teams

• Advanced Scalability and Performance Engineering: Strong experience applying advanced scalability, performance optimization, and high‑availability techniques to deliver resilient, high‑performing enterprise applications.
• Enterprise Architecture Innovation: Deep expertise in driving innovation across enterprise architectures, staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to shape comprehensive, future‑ready solutions.
