Job Description

As a Sanctions Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing a comprehensive sanctions compliance program within the organization. Your main duties will include monitoring and analyzing sanctions regulations, conducting risk assessments, and developing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. You will also collaborate with internal departments to provide guidance on sanctions-related matters and assist in conducting investigations and due diligence on potential sanctions issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping abreast of changes in sanctions laws and regulations, as well as communicating updates to relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanctions compliance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's sanctions compliance program.
  • Stay informed on relevant regulations, laws, and industry best practices related to sanctions.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to sanctions compliance and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze transactions to ensure compliance with sanctions laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide guidance on sanctions-related issues and transactions.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities regarding sanctions compliance.
  • Conduct sanctions training for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Investigate potential violations of sanctions regulations and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to sanctions compliance efforts.
  • Represent the organization in interactions with regulatory agencies and auditors regarding sanctions compliance.


  • - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, or International Relations - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanctions compliance or a similar role - In-depth knowledge of sanctions regulations and compliance requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
