Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing customer relationship management (CRM) systems to meet the company's needs. This individual is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting the Salesforce platforms to enhance business processes, increase efficiency, and improve user adoption across the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented, technically proficient professional with strong communication skills and an ability to manage a wide variety of tasks. The Salesforce Administrator is key in ensuring seamless connectivity between Salesforce and other software systems in use, and in aiding departments in leveraging the CRM's capabilities to meet their goals. As a proactive problem solver, this professional will work closely with teams throughout the company to ensure Salesforce solutions align with business objectives and improve operations.


Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce instances to align with business processes and needs.
  • Support and train end-users to ensure high-quality Salesforce usage and adoption.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop Salesforce solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and technical challenges within Salesforce systems.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of Salesforce data through regular monitoring and audits.
  • Develop and document procedures and guidelines related to Salesforce operations.
  • Customize Salesforce features through the use of Lightning components and Visualforce pages.
  • Monitor system performance and manage Salesforce license utilization efficiently.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments for integrating Salesforce with other applications.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and feature upgrades, implementing relevant changes.
  • Provide ongoing support and feedback to enhance Salesforce capabilities for business use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Salesforce administration and configuration.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is required, further certifications are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to evaluate and address business needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical proficiency with the Salesforce platform.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, security, and governance modules.
  • Effective communication skills for facilitating training and collaboration with stakeholders.
