Job Description

The Sales Officer for Personal Loans & Credit Cards is a pivotal role within the banking and financial services sector. This role is focused on developing relationships with new and existing clients to sell personal loans and credit cards, thus driving revenue for the bank. Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for personal loans and credit card sales.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client financial histories and creditworthiness.
  • Maintain detailed and organized client records and follow up on leads regularly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide in-depth guidance regarding loan options, terms, and interest rates.
  • Assist clients in the application process and facilitate the completion of required documentation.
  • Negotiate terms and manage expectations to ensure mutual client and bank benefit.
  • Stay informed of market trends, product competitiveness, and industry regulations.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for product development and enhancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience within the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, loan processing, and credit card marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and understand credit risk management.
  • Results-driven individual with a proactive approach and strong negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is highly desirable.
