Job Description

The Sales Manager for Medical Equipment is a critical role responsible for driving sales growth, maximizing revenue, and building strong customer relationships within the healthcare sector. This role entails developing strategic sales plans, successfully executing sales strategies, and leading a dedicated sales team to achieve established goals. A successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of medical equipment, the healthcare market, and the needs of healthcare providers. They will work closely with the marketing team to leverage market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to refine sales strategies. As a key point of contact for customers, the Sales Manager will also ensure that the company’s medical equipment solutions meet customer needs and expectations, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and operational efficiencies in healthcare institutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans for medical equipment.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve targets.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare institutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.

  • Train and develop sales team members to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the medical equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of the medical equipment market and industry regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for managing sales activities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
