Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed on industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and progress to management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote company services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address and resolve client issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage clients effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clientele.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client needs.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
