The Sales Executive in Freight Forwarding plays a pivotal role in driving new business and sustaining existing customer relationships within the logistics and supply chain industry. This role requires an individual with an inherent ability to sell, negotiate, and forge strong connections with clients. Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Stay current with industry trends to provide informed solutions and stay competitive.
  • Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas.
  • Organize and attend trade shows, networking events, and conferences to promote services.
  • Continuously update and maintain customer database records to ensure accurate tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of proven experience in freight forwarding sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and global logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
