We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer focused on the Marine industry to join our team. As a Sales Engineer in the Marine division, your main responsibility will be to drive sales and develop strong relationships with clients in the marine sector. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, promoting our products and services, preparing technical presentations, and negotiating contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in marine engineering, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven track record of sales success. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with marine industry clients to understand their needs and promote relevant products or services.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers on marine equipment, systems, and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of marine products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Conduct product training and workshops for customers and internal teams.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and services.
  • Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retain business relationships.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or technical sales within the marine industry.
  • Strong understanding of marine equipment, systems, and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and customers.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
