Job Description

The Sales Engineer for Air Compressors is a vital role that serves as the cornerstone in bridging our technical solutions to potential and existing clients. This position primarily focuses on leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to expand and sustain our market presence. You will be responsible for understanding the complex needs of the clients, providing them with appropriate compressor solutions tailored to their specific requirements. The successful candidate will utilize their knowledge of sales principles and client relationship management to nurture strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. This dynamic role requires a motivated professional who is skilled in technical sales, with a profound aptitude for understanding air compressor technologies and their practical applications.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and untapped market segments.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Recommend and provide tailored air compressor solutions based on customers' requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to customize products for clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to clients effectively.
  • Maintain and establish relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee product installation and provide post-installation support and training to clients.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining a high-level client satisfaction.
  • Track progress against sales targets and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to effectively advise clients.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to expand the company’s network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in technical sales or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of air compressors and related equipment technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
