Job Description

The Sales Administrator is a pivotal role within the sales department, responsible for ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes to support a high-performing sales team. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage administrative tasks, coordinate with various departments, and provide exceptional support to the sales team. The Sales Administrator is responsible for handling day-to-day administrative duties, managing sales-related documentation, coordinating schedules, and being an integral part of the order processing system. By effectively managing these responsibilities, the Sales Administrator contributes to the overall success and efficiency of the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage sales team schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales documents and customer information.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales reports and presentations.
  • Manage and update customer databases with new contact information and sales activities.
  • Process and track sales orders, ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Support the sales team by coordinating promotional materials and events.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and prepare forecasts for management review.
  • Ensure the sales department operates following company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales department as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales administration or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential for this position.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not required.
