The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth across the GCC region for EthosEnergy’s Rotating Equipment services, with a specific focus on Centrifugal Compressor and Steam Turbine overhauls. As a leading Independent Service Provider (ISP), EthosEnergy requires a candidate with strong technical and commercial understanding of rotating equipment, deep knowledge of ADNOC and other major regional operators, and the ability to open, manage, and develop relationships at senior levels.
The role includes managing the existing sales teams in Abu Dhabi and Qatar, working alongside the Business Development Manager and other promoting cross-selling of services across both facilities, and expanding customer penetration across the Middle East Shops business. The position will also require close working with other EthosEnergy business lines outside of the Middle East Shops group to ensure clarity and continuity for clients and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing regional accounts across the GCC, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Drive Sales activities for overhaul services related to Centrifugal Compressors and Steam Turbines.
Develop strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders within ADNOC and other key national and international oil & gas companies.
Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the rotating equipment aftermarket sector.
Promote and cross-sell EthosEnergy capabilities from both Abu Dhabi operational groups and the Qatar service center.
Support the development of technical and commercial proposals and tenders, while owning the creation and delivery of client presentations.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of LNG, refining, and petrochemical rotating equipment users in the GCC.
Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer investment plans to identify growth opportunities.
Achieve order intake, margin, and growth targets for assigned accounts and territory.
Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities, forecasts, customer interactions, and opportunity pipelines.
Represent EthosEnergy at trade shows, customer events, and industry forums across the GCC.
Support a culture of customer focus, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills / Knowledge
Strong technical understanding of rotating equipment, particularly Centrifugal Compressors and Steam Turbines.
Extensive knowledge of ADNOC procurement, qualification processes, and operating companies.
Knowledge of API 6A and API 687 standards would be an advantage.
Proven ability to develop and maintain high-level customer relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams across multiple locations.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting processes.
Ability to manage complex and long sales cycles.
Excellent presentation and proposal development skills.
Experience
Proven experience in sales or account management within the rotating equipment aftermarket industry.
Demonstrated experience with Centrifugal Compressor and Steam Turbine overhaul projects.
Strong track record working with ADNOC and GCC oil & gas customers.
Experience working with an Independent Service Provider (ISP) is preferred.
Experience working across multiple GCC markets and cultures.
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Full and Clean Driving License either UAE or Convertible to UAE License
Physical Requirements
Able to travel extensively
