Synopsis



To support the airline’s distribution strategy by managing the operational and administrative aspects of NDC (New Distribution Capability) processes. The role ensures smooth functioning of NDC support, billing reconciliation, and administrative coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Accountabilities



  • NDC Support Operations
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day NDC transactions and system performance.
  • Coordinate with IT and commercial teams to resolve technical issues related to NDC.
  • Support travel agents and partners with onboarding, troubleshooting, and usage of NDC channels.
  • Maintain documentation and SOPs for NDC processes.
  • Billing & Reconciliation
  • Assist in validating and reconciling NDC-related billing and settlement reports.
  • Coordinate with finance and revenue accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Track discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
  • Administrative Support
  • Maintain records of contracts, SLAs, and partner agreements related to NDC.
  • Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Support in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to distribution.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise with internal departments (IT, Finance, Revenue Management, Legal) and external partners (GDSs, aggregators, travel agents).
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-ups on operational matters.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Support audits and quality checks related to NDC and distribution processes.

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 – 4 years of experience in airline distribution, sales support, or commercial operations
  • Familiarity with airline core systems like res platform required.
  • Exposure to GDS, NDC or other airline distribution technologies is preferable.
  • Experience in billing, reconciliation, or financial operations & knowledge on reporting tools (Excel, Power BI is a plus.
