Job Description

A Retail Sales Executive is an integral part of the retail team, responsible for driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the store’s products to assist customers better.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide solutions promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and presentable at all times.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Keep the store tidy and ensure a welcoming shopping environment for customers.
  • Coordinate with the store manager to implement promotional and marketing strategies.
  • Process transactions smoothly and keep accurate records of sales and returns.
  • Train and mentor new retail staff as needed to maintain a consistent service level.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and propose actionable plans for improvement.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to keep up with product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as required by store hours.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or marketing is a plus.
