Job Description

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dining establishment. Your leadership will not only influence the morale and productivity of our staff but will also enhance customer satisfaction to maintain the restaurant's reputation and patronage. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the restaurant staff, ensuring optimum service standards are being delivered, and adhering to the restaurant’s policies. You will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints and managing inventory effectively. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for service excellence to ensure the seamless operation of the restaurant.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate restaurant staff to improve their performance and skills.
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during busy hours and special events.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations within the restaurant.
  • Oversee inventory management and order supplies to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation and service.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance service quality.
  • Monitor financial transactions and maintain records of receipts and expenditures accurately.
  • Assist in marketing efforts and contribute ideas to attract more customers consistently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement plans to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dynamic customer interaction.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in foodservice environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic financial management skills for handling budgets, expenses, and revenue calculations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays when required.
