Resident Engineer - Mechanical Substation - 132 KV

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Resident Engineer, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Your role

• Lead and supervise all mechanical engineering activities related to EHV/HV substations (132kV,220kV,400kV and above).
• Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings,project specifications,contract documents,and local authority requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance,productivity,and adherence to project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress,workmanship,and compliance.
• Review and recommend approval of contractor submissions,including method statements,material submittals,shop drawings,and work procedures.
• Participate in progress review meetings and coordinate with all project stakeholders
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's degree or a related field.
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with subcontractors, clients, and civil teams.
• Proven ability to prepare and review technical drawings and calculations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
