To provide logistical and field support for the activities of the Office and its affiliated centers by carrying out operational tasks related to the preparation of research events and exhibitions, transporting equipment and displaying materials between locations within the university, and ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and organizing research exhibitions, workshops, and events, including transporting, installing, and arranging equipment, display materials, and supplies in coordination with supervisors.
  • Provide on-site logistical support during events and conferences, ensuring smooth setup, coordination, and participant assistance.
  • Receive, store, and transport research equipment, materials, and correspondence (such as samples and documents) between research centres within the university.
  • Set up and dismantle basic electronic devices such as projectors, display screens, and other presentation equipment; and report minor maintenance or technical issues to the Facilities Management or General Services Department.
  • Monitor and organize inventory and storage areas, ensuring materials and equipment are properly labeled, stored, and in good condition.
  • Prepare meeting rooms and venues for research-related activities, ensuring all furniture, devices, and materials are arranged as required.
  • Assist in planning and documenting equipment movement, including preparing loading and transportation schedules and maintaining delivery records using approved office systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures during all field and logistical tasks.
  • Coordinate with research teams and visiting delegations during preparation and execution of research activities.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor or management

Minimum Qualification

 High School Diploma

Preferred Qualification

 Basic knowledge of handling research and office equipment (e.g., screens, projectors, exhibition tools).  Understanding of safety procedures and safe equipment handling.  Skill in organizing and storing materials securely.  Ability to perform field tasks within and outside the campus.  Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Expected Skills
