Job Description
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at United Arab Emirates University is seeking applications for a Research Associate specializing in solid waste management and life cycle assessment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in solid waste characterization, particularly in the design and execution of bioreactor and anaerobic digestion experiments, along with the ability to conduct life cycle assessments of landfill systems. Responsibilities include performing laboratory experiments and carrying out comprehensive life cycle analyses. Applicants should demonstrate experience in anaerobic digestion of solid waste, landfill mining, life cycle assessment, and solid waste bioreactors. A strong record of peer reviewed research publications is required.
