Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, coordinating with other medical professionals, and ensuring that all aspects of patient care are carried out efficiently and safely. The RN should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, enabling them to foster a supportive environment for patients and their families. In addition to clinical duties, the RN will be expected to adhere to hospital policies and best practice guidelines while maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the healthcare field.


Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians to patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their physical and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records reflecting care and progress.
  • Supervise and train junior nursing staff and students in clinical settings.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist with emergency interventions and participate actively in code teams.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients experiencing distress or pain.
  • Participate in continued education and stay informed on medical advancements.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure all medical devices are functional.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current RN license and registration in the state of practice is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant accredited nursing program required.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize patient care.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and patient management software.
  • CPR and BLS certification are required, with additional certifications preferred.
