Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients. As a vital member of the healthcare team, the RN is responsible for the overall coordination and management of patient care. This includes assessing patients' health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. In this role, the RN will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care. The RN also educates patients and their families on health management and disease prevention, promoting healthy habits and offering guidance on post-hospital care. With a compassionate nature and a keen eye for detail, the RN ensures that all clinical procedures are carried out following the essential healthcare protocols and safety standards.


Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' conditions to implement appropriate treatment plans efficiently.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the medical team promptly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patients’ medical records and histories.
  • Educate patients and families about healthcare plans and disease prevention techniques.
  • Assist with medical procedures and operate medical equipment for patient care.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during hospital stay.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous learning activities.
  • Manage nurse resources and delegate tasks appropriately among team members.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modify care plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical care setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and relevant healthcare practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Proficient with medical software and healthcare management systems.
