Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in the healthcare system, providing care and support to patients in various settings. As an RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will also be involved in providing emotional support to patients and their families while ensuring that patients receive safe and high-quality care. This position requires effective communication, empathy, and a thorough understanding of clinical procedures and health care policies. RNs must stay current with advances in medical science and technology to offer the best possible care for their patients. You will collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.


Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health status through physical examinations and medical history reviews.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and progress to the healthcare team.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions.
  • Coordinate patient care services with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patient interactions and interventions.
  • Ensure the delivery of compassionate, safe, and high-quality care to all patients.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment required in the evaluation and treatment processes.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide postoperative care and monitoring.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay knowledgeable about best practices.
  • Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards in nursing practice.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid and current nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum of an associate degree in Nursing; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting such as a hospital or medical clinic.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay calm and focused under stressful conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in completing nursing duties.
  • Commitment to adhering to health, safety, and regulatory standards and policies.
